Large Goods Vehicle Training

Designed

For candidates wishing to drive Large Goods Vehicles (cat: ‘C1’ and ‘C’)

Duration

Normally a SEVEN day course with two candidates and one instructor ii the vehicle at the same time. The TEST day is on the last day of this course.

C1 to C upgrade – this course could be done in FIVE days with the TEST day being the 5th day (Depending on candidates ability)

Course Content

• Truck Inspection
• Basic Driving skills (use of mirrors)
• Manoeuvring techniques
• Reversing exercise
• Observation and forward planning
• Town driving (heavy traffic)
• Pre-Test driving
