The RSMA ‘Up to the Mark 2008? Ecodyn Survey is the 8th
national survey commissioned by the Association since 1996,
covering a representative sample of UK Roads. This year’s
survey has been expanded to cover a total of over 1850 km of
roads, representing a doubling of the original surveyed sample.
The 2008 survey is the third survey to be undertaken since the
publication by the Highways Agency of TD26 - Inspection and
Maintenance of Road Markings and Road Studs on Motorways
and All Purpose Trunk Roads, which identified the procedures for
the inspection and maintenance of road markings.
